Predictions are in

Posted on: Fri 19 Feb 2010

Earlier in the week, we asked eager tipsters to step forward and, ahead of this weekend's game against Aldershot, they've delivered their predictions.

Usually the Official Site brings you the odds for Notts' games but now there are recommendations for matches around the country as well.

These come from three fans - CountyToScoreFirst, TrixieDean and Nobbler - that like to have a regular flutter via the club's official betting partner, Bet365.

Hopefully they'll be able to win their fellow County fans some cash over the coming weeks, starting with this weekend...

COUNTY TIPS

CountyToScoreFirst: I'm predicting Notts to bounce back from the disappointing home draw against Grimsby in this highly important game with a 2-1 away win. Placing a couple of quid on the scoreline will fetch £18. (CLICK TO BET)

With Hughesy suspended, I fully expect Luke Rodgers to stake his claim for a regular start with a goal, in addition to Ben Davies. A fiver bet on Rodgers would result in £10 in winnings, though Davies would see slightly more: £16.67. (CLICK TO BET)

TrixieDean: With recent events and the suspension of Hughes I expect this to be a very tight game, and, with both teams having realistic promotion chances, I'm going for a 1-1 draw. Should this result come in, £5 would scoop £27.50. (CLICK TO BET)

I also fancy Sandell to score for Aldershot and would go for him to find the net at any time, whereas I'd plump for Rodgers to grab the game's opener. Sandell to score at any time has odds of 7/2 and Rodgers to net first is priced at 13/2. (CLICK TO BET)

Nobbler: This won't be popular with the Notts fans but I fancy a 2-1 home win for Aldershot, who have lost only once at home this term. A 2-1 Shots victory could see a tenner bet return £85. (CLICK TO BET)

I will, however, advise fans to look at backing one of the defenders to net for the Magpies, with Davies producing some special deliveries of late. Centre-backs Mike Edwards and Stephen Hunt have been issued odds of 33/1 and 28/1 respectively to grab the game's opener. (CLICK TO BET)

AROUND THE COUNTRY

CountyToScoreFirst: I think Everton could cause an upset against Manchester United, especially after beating Chelsea and Sporting Lisbon recently, so I'm going to tip them to run away with a 2-1 score line. 14/1 odds are being offered for this full time score. (CLICK TO BET)

Nobbler: Mine's a treble, backing Newcastle, who scored four against Coventry in midweek, Aston Villa at home to Burnley, and Hereford at home against a Burton team that, I feel, are punching above their weight at the minute. This treble would bring in £10.04 from a £2 flutter. (CLICK TO BET)

TrixieDean: If you're thinking about an accumulator, I'd go for the following winners: Manchester United, Chelsea, Coventry, Leicester and Morecambe. Just by placing a quid on these teams, you could win £47.39. (CLICK TO BET)
