Notts County's popular fundraising initiative, Lifeline, is looking to boost members by nearly 1,000 by the end of the season.

Currently over 1,500 fans participate, with the chance of winning a number of cash prizes each week.

Lifeline ploughed £80,000 into the club last season and coordinator Lynn Lawson aims to better that amount by increasing the number of members.

She said: "It's a great opportunity for fans to win money but support their club at the same time.

"We've recently had a rise in numbers and we thought 'why not aim for 2,500?'

"To help get more supporters involved, we've now got an online form, so hopefully more County fans around the country - even around the world - will sign up."
