A match against Fulham is turning into an annual event for Magpies midfielder Craig Westcarr.

The productive wide-man netted a double in last year's FA Cup, whilst on the books at non-league Kettering.

Westcarr announced that he would love to have the same impact when Notts travel to west London on Sunday, recalling one of his career highlights.

He said: "I played against Fulham last year, and we did well against them and probably should have got a replay.

"Scoring against them was one of the best days that I've had.

"It was such a good game and such good atmosphere and hopefully we can get that again."

Westcarr knows from experience the threat that Roy Hodgson's team poses.

But, with the great spirit within the County ranks, he is confident that they have the tools to upset another Premier League team.

"At the end of the day they're a good team," he explained.

"We gave them a good game last year and hopefully we can give them a good game with Notts County this year.

"We've got a really good squad and whoever gets injured or whoever comes in, we know they're good enough to do the job and that's good to have.

"We've got a tight unit at the minute and we're all sticking together and playing for each other - that's what we need to go into every game, which we have done."
