The official Notts County Football Club Facebook page now has over 2,000 members, despite being set up in November, 2009.

Since forming, the page has linked fans from across the globe, allowing them to react to news stories, post pictures and win a number of exclusive prizes.

Most recently, the 2,000^th member, Australian fan Tushar Mehta, received a signed Sven-Goran Eriksson photograph.

Tushar explained why he added himself to the group, saying: "I joined as one of my friends recommended me to it and when I saw the Notts memorabilia up for grabs, I was determined to win.

"I was surprised in how responsive the media team were, the fellow Magpies fans answered any questions I had, and the amount of fan photos and videos on there were was great."

He added: "I am so excited about the signed photo of Sven, but more about our promotion dreams. Come on you Pies!"

Tushar would have received two tickets to watch the Magpies take on Hereford later this month as well.

For geographical reasons, he was unable to attend, meaning that member 2,001, Rebecca Lewis, claimed the tickets instead.

The 13-year old from Arnold Hill School was delighted to have received the prize and explained why she joined the group.

She said: "I decided to because I'm a fan and wanted to keep up to date with all that goes on at County.

"It's often updated and the people that run it are very helpful."

The official Notts County YouTube channel has also gone from strength to strength and is nearing over 31,000 views from the 52 videos that have been uploaded. Click here to watch them.
