Keep pushing
A hard-fought 1-0 win over League Two strugglers Grimsby Town made it four clean sheets on the bounce for the Magpies.
It's been nearly two years since Notts managed that feat and another three years since they recorded five - though this has only happened once since 1970.
To claim their fifth in a row, Dave Kevan's men must keep promotion rivals Bournemouth at bay tomorrow night.
Although brimming with confidence, defender John Thompson is refusing to predict another perfect win, as he knows that they are in for a closely contested encounter.
He said: "We don't want to say anything too early but that's what we'll definitely be hoping to achieve.
"We've already been down there and beaten them this season so it could happen.
"We're just looking to keep going from here and keep pushing up that league.
"Hopefully it will continue because every clean sheet is like a goal for us as a defender."
The captain explained that, alongside the performances on the pitch, the spirit in the dressing room has been brilliant this season.
He added:"After the Grimsby game the lads were delighted and the confidence is so high at the moment with the results that we've had.
"We've had four clean sheets as well now, which is a good thing for all of us, not just the back four but the whole team."
