Tickets for Notts County's opening game of the season against Bradford City went on general sale this morning - and the club is urging fans to purchase in advance.

County kick-off the season on home territory against the Bantams on Saturday 8 August, and a big crowd is expected to attend after a busy - and exciting - summer at Meadow Lane.

Fans are being encouraged to purchase tickets in advance for the Bradford game - and future home matches- because there will be a reduction in cash turnstiles.

The long-term plan is to eventually turn Meadow Lane into a cashless turnstile stadium.

Therefore, it is recommended that fans buy in advance to save time and hassle on matchday.

Tickets are available from the Ticket Office from 9am to 5pm throughout the week and can be purchased either in person or over the phone by calling 0115 9557204.
