Notts County's Youth Team will not be facing on Long Eaton United in a pre-season friendly tonight.

The game was arranged earlier in the summer but after talks between the two clubs the game will not go ahead.

The kids will also face Hucknall Town's youngsters in a friendly before the month is out.

The game was pencilled in earlier in the summer but was called off but following more talks between both parties the game is now back on.

The game will take place on Tuesday 28 July at Hucknall's Watnall Road ground.

Another addition to the youngsters' fixture list is a friendly at Burton Albion on 8 August.

Said Youth Team Manager Michael Johnson: "It has been a bit hectic juggling the fixtures, but everything seems to be in place now!"

Next up for the U18s is a game at Nottingham Forest's Academy on Saturday.
