Notts County's Delroy Facey became the first Magpies player in just over nine years to represent his country at full international level last night.

The powerful frontman played the full 90 minutes for Grenada in their 2-0 defeat to Haiti in the CONCACAF Gold Cup in Washington.

Facey drew a fine save from the Haiti goalkeeper with a thunderous shot in the first half and he also missed a good chance to draw Grenada level before the break, shooting wide inside the box.

After a 4-0 defeat to the USA earlier in the tournament, Grenada will be playing for nothing but pride in their final group game against Honduras on Saturday in Boston.

Facey will then fly to Austria to team up with the rest of the County squad at their training camp in Obertraun.
