Graeme Lee has admitted he is not taking anything for granted after joining the Notts County revolution last week.

The experienced centre-half was one of three players to join the Magpies last week.

Despite being hailed by his new Manager as a leader and a key signing Lee knows he will have to fight for his first-team place, just like any other player.

"First and foremost I need to break into the team and establish myself as a regular," said Lee.

"I don't expect to walk into the team because Notts County have some very good players already who I will be competing with.

"It will be a challenge, and then after that hopefully I can bring my experience to the table and help the team do well.

"The Manager said he wanted someone who could dominate in both areas, and that is usually my strength."

Lee has tasted promotion on a number of occasions during his career and hopes he can bring his experience in a promotion battle to the team.

He said: "I've had three promotions in my career and I've had a feel for it, so hopefully I can bring that winning mentality and know-how to the fore."
