Delroy Facey missed out on the opportunity to become Notts County's first player in almost ten years to receive full international honours over the weekend.

The frontman failed to make the Grenada matchday squad for their opening CONCACAF Gold Cup match against the USA in Seattle after receiving the call-up last month.

Grenada were comprehensively beaten 4-0 and will be hoping to fare far better in their next game against Haiti on Wednesday (8 July).

It looks like they may also have to beat both Haiti and then Honduras next Saturday (11 July) to have any chance of making it past the group stages.

Once Grenada's involvement in the Gold Cup is over Facey will report back for pre-season training with the rest of the County squad.
