Delroy Poised For International Bow
Delroy Facey could become the first Notts County player in almost ten years to become capped at International level this weekend.
Facey, who hit nine goals for the Magpies last term, has been called up to the Grenada national team for their CONCACAF Gold Cup campaign in America.
As a result, he has missed the start of County's pre-season campaign but will to report back for duty with the Magpies once Grenada's involvement in the tournament is over.
The Gold Cup kicks off tonight in LA with Canada taking on Jamaica followed by Costa Rica against El Salvador.
Tomorrow, Facey's Grenada will tackle the USA in Seattle while Honduras and Haiti - also in Grenada's group - go head-to-head in tomorrow's other game.
We will do our best at nottscountyfc.co.uk to follow Delroy's progress throughout the tournament.
Darren Ward was County's last player to receive full international honours in the summer of 2000 when he turned out for Wales against Portugal.
