Lee: "County Is The Place To Be"
Graeme Lee is convinced Notts County is the place to be after penning a two-year deal with the Magpies.
The 31-year-old defender tied up the formalities of his switch from Bradford City yesterday on a two-year deal.
The three-time promotion winner admits the ambition of Manager Ian McParland and those at the very top quickly at Meadow Lane convinced him to make the move to Nottingham.
He said: "After speaking to the Manager and his staff I was really impressed with what they had to tell me.
"The ambition of everyone here really stood out and now the takeover is pushing forwards there is something building here and I want to be part of it.
"This felt right from the moment I spoke to the people here; as a player you want to be part of a club that has ambition and wants to do well.
"It seems that once the takeover is complete the new owners won't just be happy with one promotion, they want to kick on and get another one and those are the things you like to hear as a player .
"Notts County want to win things and that is the big reason why I've signed."
Lee joined the rest of his team-mates at Meadow Lane this morning for the start of County's pre-season training.
