Johnstone's Paint Trophy Draw Date Set

The Football League has confirmed the details for the First Round draw of next season's Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

The draw will take place live on Sky Sports' Saturday morning football show Soccer AM on Saturday 15 August.

16 clubs will receive byes into the Second Round, but a new rule introduced by the Football League this season means those clubs given a bye last season will not be awarded on this year.

Therefore, there's every chance that Notts could be handed a spot straight into the Second Round.

Last season, County were beaten at the first round hurdle by League One outfit Scunthorpe United 2-1 at Glanford Park.
