The Notts County Supporters Club will be hosting their annual Player of the Year evening tonight.

The event will be held in the 1862 Suite at Meadow Lane from 7:30pm onwards, and all fans are welcome.

Voting for the Supporters Club Player of the Year has been ongoing for the last month to see who will win the award which was last year claimed by goalkeeper Kevin Pilkington.

So who will come out on top this year? There are plenty of contenders such as wing-wizard Matt Hamshaw, left-back Jamie Clapham, youngster Myles Weston, Captain John Thompson and leading scorer Delroy Facey.

In addition the Players' Player of the Year and the Manager's Player of the Year will be announced while there will also be a special tribute to Michael Johnson from the Supporters Club.

The veteran defender is hanging up his boots next month after a successful career in the game and will be taking charge of County's Youth Team next term.

Tickets for the event cost £10 for Adults and £7 for Juniors and all attendees will be treated to a Sausage & Mash supper.
