County Boss Targeting Return To Form
Ian McParland wants his Notts County side to put their plans into practice to end the season on a high at Morecambe on Saturday.
County have won one of their last ten games and McParland wants his side to end the campaign in the best way possible to give the Magpies faithful something to cheer about going into the summer.
He said: "Winning games is just as important as it was at the start of the season.
"Myself, the staff and all the players are paid to win football matches and that is what we intend to do.
"It would be a bonus to get a victory after recent results and I hope we can make it three from three, but if we don't I'll dust myself down and get on with it."
McParland accepts it is a difficult time of the season for a number of his players who are out of contract at the end of June but has called on his players to end County's run of three straight defeats.
"It is a difficult time for a lot of players, especially those worrying about contracts," he said.
"As I've been saying for the last few weeks they have to go out and do their best - it doesn't matter if we're safe, middle of the table or at the top.
"It is about their personal pride to go out there and win games.
"Morecambe have a bit to play for still and they're doing quite well so it will be a tough game."
