Eddy Disappointed With Recent Results
Mike Edwards insists there's no-one more disappointed than Notts County's players at their recent run of form.
County have lost their last three League Two fixtures, two of which have been at home.
The talk from the dressing room before the Easter weekend's fixtures was for County to hit a good run of form and end the campaign on a high note.
That hasn't happened just yet although County have the chance to put that right with three games left and Edwards believes the players are hurting just as much as the fans.
He said: "A few weeks ago we talked about ending the season on a good run of form and we're disappointed that hasn't really materialised.
"We've got Morecambe away on Saturday and it is important we go up there and get something after recent results."
County dominated the entire first half in the Bank Holiday Monday clash with Grimsby and missed numerous chances which came back to haunt them in the 2-0 defeat.
"We were all quite down after the game," explained Edwards when summing up the mood in the dressing room after the game.
"We had quite a lot of chances and their goalkeeper had an inspired display.
"But we let two sloppy goals in and that has happened too much this season.
"We need to cut out giving hope to the opposition because it doesn't help us."
