Ian Left Frustrated Once Again
Ian McParland admitted after today's 1-0 defeat at Morecambe he is beginning to get sick and tired of coming out and having to repeat himself.
For the fourth game in a row - all of which have ended in defeat for County - missed chances have proved to be costly.
That, along with sloppy goals being conceded at the other end, has left McParland bitterly frustrated.
He said: "We didn't deserve to lose today, but it happens far too often.
"I keep saying it every week but at crucial moments in both boxes we switch off.
"I know what is missing and I'll put it right.
"We were comfortable in the first half and tactically we were right going 4-3-3 today and although they came at us more in the second half we still had plenty of chances."
County were denied by Morecambe goalkeeper Barry Roche on countless occasions, especially in the second half.
"Barry Roche made four great saves; one in particular from Richard Butcher was brilliant," said McParland.
"I know him from my time at Forest and he's a very good goalkeeper."
County have just two games left to get points on the board before the season's conclusion and he is determined to see his side halt the run of four straight defeats next week against Dagenham & Redbridge at Meadow Lane next weekend.
"Of course we want to do better and we only have two games to do that now," he said.
"I'm a winner and I've told the players it is all about pride and they have to keep going until the last second of the last game of the season."
