Notts County's players put a smile on faces of the young children at the Queens Medical Centre yesterday by delivering Easter treats to all the youngsters.

After a fantastic response from Notts fans to supporter Rob Bristol's annual Easter Egg Appeal County's players were on hand yesterday afternoon to visit the children's wards at the QMC to help Rob deliver the Eggs.

Sutton-in-Ashfield based Rob has - off his own back - ran the appeal for the last six years with great success and this year was no different with over 300 Easter Eggs donated.

Said Rob: "The response was overwhelming and it was great to put a smile on the faces of the children."

The Eggs will also be distributed to the Nottingham City Hospital & Kings Mill Hospital in Sutton-in-Ashfield by Rob.

Any surplus Eggs will be handed out to the Women's refuge for victims of domestic violence in Nottingham & Mansfield as well as the two 'Dr Barnado' styles homes at Southwell.

The club would like to take this opportunity congratulate Rob on his sterling efforts once again for running the appeal.
