Tomorrow's home game with Accrington Stanley has been selected as the second-ever 'Lifeline Day' at Meadow Lane.
The Club will be taking up the opportunity to raise the profile of Notts County Lifeline in-and-around Meadow Lane.
The first Lifeline Day took place - ironically - against Accrington back in September 2006.
The Matchday Magazine, available for just £2.50 tomorrow, features Lifeline heavily to try and raise awareness towards the scheme which costs just £2 a week to join.
Volunteers from the Supporters Club will also be working inside the ground to encourage more supporters to sign up to Lifeline.
Each week prizes of £1,000, x3 £100 and x3 £50 are drawn - while yearly prizes include £10,000, a car and a holiday.
To be in with a chance of winning though, you have to be a member of Lifeline.
Lifeline was born on Monday September 15 1986, which was one of the most significant occasions in the long history of Notts County.
That night 1,500 County supporters packed into the Astoria Ballroom while hundreds more were locked outside as they gathered to hear of the financial crisis that threatened the future of the club.
The Club had been struggling financially for a long time and it was only the financial support of Chairman Jack Dunnett that enabled County to continue.
At the time of the meeting the debt had reached £1.8 million which would not have been dissimilar to the figure involved when the club went into administration in 2002.
Just as there was tremendous enthusiasm shown by County fans during the 2003 crisis, so it was then.
The players were all on the platform, led by Captain Steve Simms, pledging their support and listened to the speeches from amongst others Tommy Lawton, Don Masson and the late, great Jimmy Sirrel.
Since that fateful evening Lifeline has been - quite simply - a lifeline, raising in the excess of £1 million for the club and providing a social and sporting organisation for all its members.
Twenty-two-and-a-half years on the scheme is still going strong and membership remains at a steady level which the Club is keen to see grow.
