Fitness Coach Marcus Svensson has today left his post at Meadow Lane, taking up a similar role at fellow League Two side Rochdale.

The Swede, 31, teamed up with the Magpies in the summer after leaving Derby County's Academy - and worked alongside Physio Paul Smith regarding the fitness and conditioning of the players.

Svensson replaces Paul Conway at Spotland, who sadly passed away last month.

Svensson was a close friend of Conway's, and will be taking over his role at Spotland.

Everyone at Meadow Lane would like thank Marcus for his efforts whilst with Notts County, and wish him the very best for the future.

Magpies boss Ian McParland has been quick to find a replacement, with Henry Cleminson on taking over his role this morning.
