One of the most prominent events in the Notts County calendar each year is the Lifeline Gala Night, and this year's event promises to be a real cracker on its 22nd year.
nottscountyfc.co.uk confirmed last week that the annual Gala Night will be taking place on Tuesday 7 October, and Lifeline Co-Ordinator Lynn Lawson is delighted with how the plans for the event are coming together.
The Gala Night will be taking place in the 1862 Suite at Meadow Lane from 7:30pm onwards, with no admission charge on the night. A hot buffet, including hot beef rolls and chips will also be available to attendees.
She said: "We're putting the plans together. Things are progressing nicely and everything is falling into place.
"It is an important event in the Notts County calendar, and everyone involved is determined to make the Gala Night as success as ever.
"I'm delighted to confirm Ian McParland, his backroom staff and all the players will be attending as well as legends from the past who I am sure supporters will be delighted to see again.
"I'm sure we'll have more to confirm over the next few weeks, but I can assure supporters it will be another memorable night."
All Lifeline members should receive their official invite to the Gala Night in the next few days through the post if they haven't already received theirs - along with the 2008/09 membership cards.
The Gala Night BIG DRAW will commence at 9pm on the night, with the top prizes being £10,000 in cash.
The other fantastic prizes include: A Car, £1,000 Cash, A £750 Holiday Voucher and £500 Cash. In addition, a special draw on the night will ensure five lucky people will each take home £50 in cash!
Lifeline Members should note to be eligible for the draw they must be a fully paid up member of Lifeline for 2007/08.
