Notts County's Centre of Excellence teams will this weekend take in their first games of the season following it summer re-launch, with Hull City the opponents.

The Under 9s, 11s and 13s will be taking on their Tigers counterparts on home territory at Highfields on Sunday morning, while the Under 10s, 12s, 14s and 15-16s will be making the journey to Humberside.

After the postponement of last weekend's games with Hartlepool following the bad weather which swept the country, Centre of Excellence Director Mick Leonard believes the youngsters are itching to get their seasons underway.

He said: "You can sense there's a real air of excitement amongst the squads having viewed training this week.

"It was obviously disappointing that last weekend's games were called off, but this weekend has come around pretty quickly for the lads and everyone's looking forward to the games."
