GOAL - SCUNTHORPE 0-1 NOTTS: Notts take the lead on nine minutes, a great left-foot volley from Richard Butcher just inside the area with his left foot opens the scoring. Great finish, and Notts lead with Butch's third of the season.

HALF-TIME - SCUNTHORPE 0-1 NOTTS: Notts lead at the break thanks to Butcher's goal although the Iron have had the majority of the play since that early opener from the midfielder. Despite being under pressure Notts have been solid as a unit from the front right through to the back, and Russell Hoult has dealt with everything that has come his way. Going forwards Notts look dangerous too, with Facey and Canham linking up well.

GOAL - SCUNTHORPE 1-1 NOTTS: The home side draw level in injury-time, Paul Hayes heading home at the far post from a coner.

GOAL - SCUNTHORPE 2-1 NOTTS: Scunthorpe take the lead, Hayes heading home from a yard out - reacting first after Hoult made a superb save.

FULL-TIME - SCUNTHORPE 2-1 NOTTS: The Iron claim a Second Round spot thanks to Hayes' two late goals - but Notts' performance deserved so much more. Look out for our full report on nottscountyfc.co.uk on a dramatic evening very soon.
