Notts Vs Shrewsbury: Live Updates
Latest From Meadow Lane
Notts County 2-2 Shrewsbury Town
Coca-Cola League Two
Kick-Off 3pm
TEAM NEWS: Ian McParland has reverted back to the team that finished the game at Luton Town a week ago after Tuesday's Carling Cup defeat at Wigan Athletic. Jay Smith starts in place of the injured Adam Nowland, who is expected to be out of action for six weeks. Michael Johnson, Matt Hamshaw, Myles Weston and Jamie Forrester were all on the bench for the Carling Cup game, and are all handed recalls.
GOAL - NOTTS 1-0 SHREWSBURY - 39 MINS: Notts take the lead thanks to skipper Mike Edwards, who headed home Matt Hamshaw's excellent left-wing free-kick delivery from around two yards out.
HALF-TIME - NOTTS 1-0 SHREWSBURY: The Magpies lead at the break thanks to Edwards' goal - his first of the season. It's a deserved lead too for the Magpies, with Daniels the busier of the two goalkeepers having denied Weston and Hamshaw and Forrester has also hit the crossbar.
GOAL - NOTTS 1-1 SHREWSBURY - 47 MINS: Shrewsbury draw back on level terms as Hibbert taps home from a yard out after Holt headed back across goal.
GOAL - NOTTS 2-1 SHREWSBURY - 75 MINS: Notts retake the lead, and last season's leading scorer Richard Butcher is the man on target. Inside the six yard box he calmly coverted Delroy Facey's low cross.
GOAL - NOTTS 2-2 SHREWSBURY - 88 MINS: Shrewsbury draw level once again two minutes from time, sub Michael Symes rising highest at the far post to head home.
FULL-TIME - NOTTS 2-2 SHREWSBURY: Full-time here at Meadow Lane, and despite leading twice Notts have to be content with a point against the leaders.
