McParland Happy To Claim First Point
Ian McParland admitted he was frustrated following the goalless draw with Darlington this afternoon.
Despite being frustrated to only claim a point rather than all three, he looked back on the point as a good one.
McParland's main frustration was that his side didn't net an early goal despite dominating the opening twenty-five minutes at Meadow Lane.
"I am a bit frustrated because we were excellent in the first twenty-five minutes," he said afterwards.
"We should have gone in front. There were a lot of half chances bobbling about and on another day one or two of those would have gone in.
"But we got them off the hook by letting them into the game and they hit the crossbar and the post.
"We got the ball down and passed it really well against a side that will be up near the top of the table at the end of season, and let's not forget about that.
"In the end it was a good point; but it could have been all three and our final ball was just lacking."
