As expected, Notts County have sealed the signings of strikers Delroy Facey and Sean Canham.

Both players successfully passed their medicals earlier this afternoon and have put pen-to-paper on their respective two-year contracts and are in contention to make their debuts at Bradford City this weekend.

The relevant forms are on their way to the FA and Football League, and subject to clearance from those authorities the deals have been completed.

Facey had his contract cancelled by mutual consent at Gillingham earlier today to complete his move, while Canham will cost Notts a nominal fee from Blue Square South outfit Team Bath.

A delighted Manager Ian McParland said: "I'm delighted to secure the services of both lads.

"Delroy will give us a real physical presence up the front which we needed, and Sean is a good young footballer who has scored an awful lot of goals at non-league level.

"We're delighted both have agreed to come here despite interest from elsewhere."

Facey has been handed the No.22 jersey for the season, while Canham will occupy the No.14 shirt.
