Open Day Preview: Huge Shirt Display
Another exciting attraction at Sunday's Open Day will be huge display of Notts County shirts from the past.
That's right; we're aiming to put on one of the biggest displays ever of Notts County shirts at Meadow Lane this weekend in the County Suite.
Already we've got shirts, both home and away, kindly donated by supporters ranging back to the 1970s which will be on display right up to the present day as part of our huge collection.
So feel free to visit the County Suite and take a look yourself, and take a trip down memory lane. We've had some memorable kits down the years, some you may have even forgotten about, so it is well worth dropping in and having a browse through the shirts on the day.
And we will also be giving supporters the opportunity to vote for their favourite home and away strips - which is all just a bit of fun!
That's just one of a number of attractions at the Open Day - which kicks off at 10:30am on Sunday 27 July down at Meadow Lane, with the new kits which have been designed and manufactured by our new kit suppliers Vandanel officially going on sale from 10am in the Club Shop.
The Open Day itself is set to be another exciting day down at Meadow Lane, with fans able to take in plenty activities on the day - including the opportunity to meet the new squad for the first time and also view the final Centre of Excellence trials on the pitch.
The other events include:
* Purchase the new home and change strips which hit the shelves for the first time
* Watch the players take part in a training session on the pitch from 11am
* Meet the squad for autographs and pictures from 1pm
* Meet the Manager and his backroom staff from 1pm
* Watch the stars of the future on the Meadow Lane surface in the Centre of Excellence Final Trials from 2pm
* Watch a spectacular display from the Dako Flying Angels on the Meadow Lane surface from 12:30pm
* 96 Trent FM's 'Thunder Summer Tour' the Black Thunders will be down at Meadow Lane bringing games, face painting, sweets and a branded tent with an area for children to take part in a colouring competition
