After unveiling of the new Magpies anthem 'Two Pies On The Shirt' yesterday, nottscountyfc.co.uk users can now download a 90-second sample of the song free of charge.

The full version will soon be available to purchase and download in full here on nottscountyfc.co.uk, and also from the Notts County Club Shop.

The idea for song snowballed when Magpies fan Simon Griffin posted his adapted lyrics to Baddiel & Skinner's '3 Lions' on a fans' site messageboard a few weeks ago.

Chairman John Armstrong-Holmes spotted Simon's idea and quickly put the idea forward to Magpies fan and music composer Jimmy Willan, who produced the song in double-quick time.

And after having its first taste of airplay yesterday on BBC Radio Nottingham, Jimmy is delighted with the response so far from Magpies fans.

He said: "It's going down well. The feedback we've had has been fantastic.

"It is a really exciting time down at Meadow Lane, and I'm looking forward to hearing the song being played over the tannoy very soon."
