Back Home & Back To Work
After their week-long stay in Austria, it is back to work in Nottingham for the Notts County squad this week.
The squad touched down back in the UK on Saturday evening after a successful week at the National Sports Centre in Obertraun.
The trip, combined with two friendly victories, saw the squad take in daily double training sessions - combining in football work with general fitness exercises which were stepped up towards the end of the week.
And the hard work continues this week as the squad settle back into their normal surroundings with good memories of a worthwhile trip.
"The trip was first-class," said Notts boss Ian McParland.
"The Sports Centre and everything about it was superb, and the two games we played were perfect for this stage of pre-season.
"We certainly got it right going there. The lads were first class; their attitude was superb right the way through.
"We are going along nicely but we have still got a lot of hard work to do and the double sessions will continue ahead of the final three friendly games we have."
The next friendly for the Magpies is this coming Thursday (24 July), when they visit Hucknall Town - kick-off 7:30pm at Watnall Road.
