Austria Experience For Magpies
Notts County's squad will spend time on foreign soil as part of their preparations for the 2008/09 season.
The Magpies will be spending a week in Austria during pre-season, taking up residence at the Obertraun National Sports & Recreation Centre for the duration of their stay.
Ian McParland's men will also take in two games whilst on Austrian turf, although these fixtures are still to be confirmed.
The squad will depart for Austria on Saturday 12 July, return to English shores on Saturday 19 July, and both McParland and his Assistant Dave Kevan have visited the Sports Centre in the past and feel it will benefit the squad greatly in their preparations for the forthcoming League Two campaign.
Kevan commented: "We're delighted to be able to secure a spot at the Sports Centre in Austria, and I would like to thank the Chairman and Board of Directors for their support in securing this for us.
"I've spent time in Austria with Burnley in the past, and the facilities are first class out there.
"We see it as a big part of our preparations."
