Live Updates From Meadow Lane

Full-Time - Notts County 0-1 Darlington: Darlington hold on to claim an important win here as Notts' unbeaten run comes to an end. Full report and reaction to follow this evening on nottscountyfc.co.uk - thanks for following the action with us and see you at the Saunders Honda Stadium in Chester on Saturday.

90 Mins + 6: Ball falls to Edwards thirty yards out, but he shoots well wide.

90 Mins + 5: Time ticking and only seconds left now as Notts launch a final attack.

90 Mins + 4: Darlington are retaining the ball again and using their experience now to kill the time, looks like a first defeat in six for the Magpies now.

90 Mins + 2: Wainwright on for the goalscorer Ravenhill, who was the man injured.

90 Mins: Five minutes of added time here at Meadow Lane, still time as the stretcher comes out for the injured Darlington player.

89 MIns: Referee Mr Russell has caused rage by stopping play for an injured Darlo play. He seems to have cramp, and the Notts players and fans are furious.

88 Mins: Darlington retaining possession here; keeping Notts back in their own half.

85 Mins: Darlington make their first change of the night, with Cummins on for Blundell. Looks like Wright on his own up front now, and Darlington looking to shut-up-shop.

82 Mins: Just under ten to go, and time is ticking away. Darlington have given nothing away since taking the lead.

77 Mins: Canoville's ball into the area bounced around and falls to Butcher on the edge of the box, but his left-foot effort is lacking power and is straight at Stockdale. At the other end Pilkington is quickly off his line to nick the ball away from Wright in the box.

76 Mins: Notts looking to step up a gear now, and win a corner through Weston. He has looked lively since coming on, but Notts haven't got enough crosses in from wide areas. White heads clear through as Darlington survive Notts' pressure.

75 Mins: Weir-Daley is on in Notts' final change, he comes on for Ali Gibb and will performing on the right-wing.

73 Mins: Joachim's cross from the right picks out Wright at the far post, but stretching to reach the ball he can only poke the ball straight at Pilkington. Easy save.

71 Mins: Weston takes on Darlington with a pacy run, but Notts aren't able to get on the end of anything. The final ball is lacking and the fans are starting to get frustrated.

69 Mins: Time beginning to tick away here, and there have been very few goalscoring chances here in this second period. Darlington are tightening up at the back, remaining neat and tidy in midfield and giving little away.

65 Mins: One change left for Ian McParland, and if he does make it you get the feeling he will opt to give Dudfield or Weir-Daley a run-out.

62 Mins: Atmosphere has again lifted, helped by Notts fans giving Alan White some abuse. If Notts can get a goal, you feel the Magpies will really be lifted.

58 Mins: Good little passing move from the back and a smart run by Weston just put Darlo on the back foot, but Butcher's final ball was just ahead of Jarvis and behind for a goal-kick. Notts still chasing.

55 Mins: Balls forwards are being cut out with ease by the Darlington back-line; Notts need to take their time a little and work an opening. Notts can get back in this game.

53 Mins: Darlington force another opening down the wing, but the cut-back to Purdie is skied into the Kop Stand by the Quakers midfielder.

52 Mins: A half chance for Notts as Lee heads a ball over the top into the path of Jarvis, but the ball just won't fall for the striker in the box and Foster gets a head in to clear.

50 MIns: Notts are going to have to make another change here, Gavin Strachan has pulled up with a hamstring injury. John Haselden has just signalled to the bench he will have to go off, and the midfielder leaves the field to a warm round of applause as he slowly makes his way off. Myles Weston is coming on in his place.

48 Mins: No chances yet, but the Z Block are in full voice urging their Magpies side on to get back in this game. There's plenty of time, and belief, that Notts can get something here.

46 Mins: Welcome back for the second half at Meadow Lane. Notts have made a half-time change; Austin McCann is on for Stephen Hunt at left-back.

Half-Time - Notts County 0-1 Darlington: Ravenhill's goal a minute before the break separates the sides. Join us again in fifteen minutes for full second-half coverage.

45 Mins: One minute of added time.

45 Mins - GOAL - Notts County 0-1 Darlington: Darlington take the lead just before the break. Joachim's ball into the box is not cleared by the Magpies and the loose ball is driven into the far corner by Ricky Ravenhill. A scrappy goal for the visitors.

43 Mins: Hodge tries his luck with his left boot from outside the box on the right for the visitors, and his dipping effort beats Pilkington and smashes off the crossbar and over the bar. A shot from nothing, and almost the opening goal.

41 Mins: Atmosphere and the high-tempo play has calmed down a little on both accounts. A cross in from the left falls to Blundell in the box but he skies way over, poor effort.

38 Mins: After the hectic ten minutes not long ago, it has got a bit quiet and scrappy at Meadow Lane. Notts still looking to play the game the right way and take on the Quakers.

32 Mins: Joachim's pace down the right causes Notts problems, but his pull-back across the box is met by Purdie who should have at least got his effort on target. Poor effort, high over the bar.

31 Mins: Alan White is getting a bit of stick from the home crowd, and as Darlington forced two-straight corners there was a real determination about his to get on the end of the ball - but both times Notts were able to snuff out the visitors attacks.

28 Mins: So close for Lee, who is still after his first goal this season. We haven't had any goals, but it's warming up a bit here and Notts are really having a go at the promotion-chasers.

25 Mins: Notts keep the pressure on with Edwards looping a head which was punched away by Stockdale from under his crossbar, and then a right-wing ball back into the box was met by a towering Jason Lee with a downward header which hit the foot of Stockdale's post and trickled behind. Good pressure by Notts.

24 Mins: Stockdale forced into a near-post save here. Fine play by Hunt to win the ball on the left and deliver a superb cross onto the head of Jarvis who almost caught the goalkeeper out at the near post, but the goalkeeper was able to push the ball around the post for a corner.

20 Mins: At the other end Darlington break, but Wright's cross from the right is scuffed inside the box by Blundell. Some twelve yards out he should really have done better and at least got the ball on target, he was virtually unmarked.

19 Mins: A first effort for the Magpies, and it comes from left-back and the boot of Stephen Hunt. A poor clearance fell to the full-back on the halfway line, and with room to advance he burst forwards and lashed in a low drive which took a slight deflection and was eventually gathered by Stockdale at the second attempt.

17 Mins: The lively opening has calmed down a little, and very little action in the penalty boxes so far.

13 Mins: Darlington catch Notts on the break and create the first opening of the game, but Wright's shot from inside the box after being played through by Blundell was well stopped by Pilkington's legs and hacked clear by Tann.

11 Mins: Darlington take a quick free-kick to get away down the left, but Purdie's ball across the box was ahead of everyone's thinking and Hunt was able to poke the ball away.

9 Mins: No opportunities as of yet, but it has been a good high-tempo start here at Meadow Lane. Notts' full-backs are bombing forwards when they can, and after ten minutes it would be fair to say Notts are out of the traps quicker.

6 Mins: Good, bright start from Notts. Gibb has got away a few times down the right to get crosses in, and only a clearance from White denies Lee getting on the end of the winger's cross. Fans are behind the Magpies as the Manager requested.

2 Mins: Bright and lively start here, Notts looking to start on the front foot and take the game to Darlington.

1 Min: We're off and underway, Notts kick off attacking towards the Kop Stand in the first half.

7:42pm: The two teams are out, and welcomed onto the pitch by a set of fireworks to greet the teams. A spray fountain on each side welcomes the teams as both sides look to maintain their impressive recent form.

7:40pm: Ex-Magpies legend Craig Short has just been introduced to the crowd on the Meadow Lane pitch, a real Meadow Lane legend. A warm welcome for the centre-back who was sold on for £2.5 Million in the early 90's after helping guide the Club to the top flight.

7:30pm: Notts players finish their pre-match warm up, looks like a real positive mood around Meadow Lane. The Magpies look up for the challenge tonight, and six games unbeaten would be some record against the second-placed Quakers.

7pm: A first start on home turf for Jay Smith since October this evening, so there's no doubt he will be keen to make an impression. He put in a confident display at Stockport, and with competition for places high in the middle of the park he will be looking to put in a display to keep his place in the team on a regular basis.

6:45pm: Hello and welcome to today's clockwatch live from Meadow Lane. An hour before kick-off, the teams have been confirmed - and Notts have made one change to the side which drew with Stockport on Saturday. Jason Lee is in for Lawrie Dudfield in attack, and that's the only change. Dudfield drops to the bench, so it's Lee and Jarvis up the front for the Magpies.
