Notts County have responded positively to a fan's suggestion to launch a special "Charlie Ticket" following Ian McParland's return to Meadow Lane.

The tickets are already on sale, for all areas of the ground, and are effectively a season-ticket covering the remaining home League games - and offering massive savings.

Said chairman John Armstrong-Holmes: "We are aware that a number of long-standing supporters stopped coming to matches because they were unhappy with the previous management.

"We are trying to say to those people that this is a fresh start under Ian McParland and David Kevan. They care very deeply about Notts County and desperately want to turn things around - so let's wipe the slate clean.

"It was a supporter's idea to introduce a special 'Charlie Ticket' as a way of building bridges and we are very happy to take it up. Hopefully it will get a good response because we need those people who had 'turned off' to get back into the habit of coming to matches."

'Charlie Tickets' will be available for Saturday's home game against Wrexham and the offer will continue until the game against Macclesfield on November 17.
