Godfrey was appointed as Notts County's Physio in July 2009.

He arrived at Meadow Lane to replace Paul Smith who left County at the end of the 2008/09 season to join Sheffield Wednesday.

Godfrey has spent the past two years with the English Institute of Sport, working alongside elite professionals from a number of sports including badminton, water polo, basketball and athletics.

He has been a qualified physiotherapist for the past 17 years and previously ran his own practice.

He will be responsible for the treatment of the club's injured players as well as working closely with Fitness Coach Marcus Svensson on the fitness, conditioning and injury prevention of the squad.
