Svensson returned to Meadow Lane as Fitness Coach in July 2009, nine months after leaving for Rochdale.

He had previously spent three months with County last summer where he was in charge of the fitness and conditioning of the squad.

He left to join Rochdale in October as their Sports Scientist, taking up the role which was previously occupied by his close friend Paul Conway.

But things didn't work out as planned for him at Spotland and after the departure of Svensson's replacement, Henry Cleminson, former County boss Ian McParland  moved quickly to bring the popular Swede back to Meadow Lane.

Preston North End and Derby County are the other two clubs he has worked at.
