Dave Kevan
Dave was brought to Meadow Lane in October, 2007 as Assistant Manager by former Manager Ian McParland.
The former Magpies midfielder had been Steve Cotterill's assistant for the previous six years at Stoke City and then Burnley, and it was a tremendous coup to persuade him to drop down to League Two.
He joined County from school in1984 and made his league debut as an apprentice.
He went on to make 99 league and cup appearances for the club - and attained Scotland Under-21 recognition - before moving to Stoke for £75,000.
When injury forced his premature retirement, he immediately turned to coaching and worked his way through the ranks at Stoke, before becoming Assistant-Manager at Burnley.
Since arriving he has worked alongside a number of managers and has even stepped into the role himself on a Caretaker-Manager basis.
