Magpie Manager is back for the new season, its third season to be precise, and it looks set to be bigger and better than ever.
For those of you who've played the game before, it will work in just the same way this time - except for the fact that Cup matches will be included this time.
It costs £5 to enter and you can do so on your own or as a group of no more than five people. The closing date for entries is Tuesday 19th August, 2008.
Magpie Manager is season-loan fantasy football competition that is exclusive to Notts County fans, where you select three defenders and three attackers for your six-man team. Entry fees cost just £5 per team.
There's a "money-can't-buy" prize for the winning manager (or a nominated representative if a group entry) who will be invited to travel on the team coach and play a full part in the day for an away game. This will most likely be the trip to Wycombe but circumstances may delay the prize until early in the 2009/10 season.
There will also be a mid-season prize for the manager whose team is at the top of the table at that stage. On top of all that, Magpie Manager of the Month prizes will be awarded throughout the season.
There will be a mid-season transfer window for you to make a few changes to your squad. Details will be supplied nearer the time.
New strikers Delroy Facey and Sean Canham signed too late to be included in the original application form for Magpie Manager, but a new form has already been put together.
Organisers have decided the competition won't be credible if Ian McParland's latest signings don't figure so supporters will still have the chance to back the new-boys to earn them points.
Those who have already entered the competition can re-select their team, either by filling in a fresh application form and marking it clearly as 'REPLACEMENT" when emailing your changes to Magpie Manager organiser Geoff Kemm at g.kemm@sky.com.
