Manager Craig Short has signed up for Notts County Lifeline.

Short becomes member number 1,873 and takes the scheme one step closer to reaching the new target of 2,000.

Lifeline donated £80,000 to the club last year and membership has been climbing over the past few months, recently hitting an initial milestone of 1,862.

Short was all too pleased to join up, saying: "It's was an important part of the club when I was here as a player and is still going strong today.

"Not only are members helping the club financially, they're giving themselves a great chance of winning some money for themselves.

"I hear I've got a better chance of winning than with the National Lottery so I'll be keeping a close eye on the numbers each week."

Lifeline Co-ordinator Lynn Lawson was delighted to get the Manager on board.

"It goes to show what kind of impact Lifeline has on the club," she said.

"I hope more fans will follow the hundreds that have joined this year and help us to reach the new target!"
