Plenty of Junior Magpies have been on holiday this summer and a few have been in touch.

The first to get back to us, in lovely pink writing, was Teagan Wileman, who went on holiday to Port Aventura in Salou with her mum and dad.

Teagan had a great time but can't wait to get back to her regular trips to Meadow Lane.

She said: "I enjoyed going to the water park but didn't like the theme park as much, as I wasn't tall enough for a lot of the rides!

"My mum and I are both season ticket holders in the Derek Pavis Stand, along with my granddad, auntie and cousin.

"We are looking forward to the new season and mum is glad to see we are at home for both the start and finish of the season!

"We also wish Craig Short all the best for the season."
