Junior Magpies Mascot Winners
At the weekend the 100th member of Junior Magpies was signed up!
Six-year-old Joseph Whitchurch, from Bramcote in Nottingham, called into the Club Shop and was encouraged to join by Retail Manager Lynn Lawson.
And what a decision it was for the youngster, who has won a matchday mascot package.
He has decided to take it up on Saturday, September 18, when Notts take on Leyton Orient at Meadow Lane, and he can't wait to meet his favourite player, Lee Hughes.
Commercial Sales Assistant Wendy Cox explained why Joseph winning was so great.
She said: "On Saturday Joseph attended his first ever Notts County game with his dad, who is a massive fan.
"What a way for him to start his supporting of the club, I'm sure he will remember it for the rest of his life."
As well as the 100th member, another existing Junior Magpie was selected to join him as a matchday mascot prize winner.
Tom Busutill, from Beeston in Nottingham, will be able to take a look behind the scenes and lead the players onto the pitch for the 100 Years at Meadow Lane celebrations against Yeovil Town.
