Winger Garry Thompson can't wait for tonight's match…
The former Bradford City forward is eagerly anticipating Friday's game against Sheffield United, a ground where he has plenty of battles in the past.
He believes that Notts have nothing to prove against the bigger sides in this division after playing so well against their play-off rivals already this season.
He told Magpie Player: "We are all prepared for the game. I've had many a good encounter there, and they are on the right side of the table with us.
"I'm expecting a good game, a bumper crowd and we are looking to put on a performance.
"I think we've proved we can results at these types of teams, Preston and Peterborough, and we've put in some really good performances.
"Going into the game, we're one of the only unbeaten sides in the Football League away from home and we want to keep it that way. We will be going there to win the game.
"The games around Christmas are against teams around us, and it will be a very good test to see where we are. We are doing superbly at the moment, but we would like to kick on."
