Throwback Thursday: Bomber Bradd Nets Against Chesterfield

5 February 2015

The Media Team go through the archives…

The club's all-time record goalscorer Les Bradd is pictured in a familiar pose as he runs away from team-mates after scoring against Chesterfield.

The goal is believed to have been scored at Saltergate in August 1971.

Both Bradd and Tony Hateley scored that day in a 2-1 win witnessed by over 12-thousand supporters.

We hope to see the Bomber celebrating in the stand, now working with the Commercial Team in the week.

Join the conversation on the club's social media pages on Facebook and Twitter about your memories of Les in his heyday.

The club would like to thank Bowles Associates, JMS Photography, Action Images, Dan Westwell and the Nottingham Post for supporting the NCFC History archives.

Look out for more classic photographs every Thursday.
