The club were saddened to hear the passing of the former player this month.
The full-back arrived from Nuneaton Borough in January 1950 and spent ten years at the club.
Frank was serving in the RAF when he signed, but had to wait to make his senior debut.
That came in 1954 against Swansea Town in a 2-2 draw and the following season he was played more regularly as a left-back, before switching sides and made 31 consecutive appearances.
In that time he scored three times, including two for the penalty spot against Bristol City and Leeds United.
A popular player around the club and the supporters, he served the Magpies with admirable enthusiasm, despite seeing Notts relegated consecutively.
He played every single game in the 1958-59 campaign, being given the captain's armband, before a knee injury ended his playing days with the club.
He went onto play for Cheltenham Town, Cambridge City, before taking the managerial reigns in 1962.
He made 155 appearances for the club, scoring five times in total.
