Midfielder Greg Tempest was named Man of the Match in Northern Ireland Under-21’s 1-0 victory over Cyprus.
The Tuesday fixture saw Tempest play 90 minutes in midfield, after recovering from a heavy knock in last week’s encounter with Italy.
The victory was Northern Ireland Under-21s’ first European Qualification victory.
Elsewhere, winger Jack Grealish played 90 minutes as Republic of Ireland Under-21s fought out a goalless draw away at Montenegro.
Midfielder Andre Boucaud also impressed after starting in Trinidad & Tobago’s 2-0 triumph in their second friendly with Jamaica.
All three players will return to Meadow Lane ahead of this weekend’s trip to Shrewsbury Town.
