Notts County striker Shaun Harrad spoke to the media on Thursday ahead of the Sky Bet League 1 game against Yeovil Town this weekend.
The 29-year-old put pen-to-paper on a new deal last week that will run until the end of the current season and he started the media session by saying how happy he was to be back at the club that he started his professional career with.
"I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time here, most importantly, and the lads have made me feel really welcome," explained Harrad.
"I’d like to think I’ve taken my opportunities and the Gaffer’s been superb with me as well, he’s just let me enjoy my football, express myself and he’s put a smile back on my face to be honest.
"It’ll be a very tough game on Saturday, they’ll be fighting for their lives, but hopefully we can get back to winning ways after Tuesday’s disappointment, but that’s been put aside now and we’ve got our eyes focused on Saturday."
