Scot Bennett has joined fellow Sky Bet League Two side Newport County on a three-month loan deal.
The defender arrived at Meadow Lane in the summer from Exeter City, penning a two-year contract.
The 24 year-old started the season in the team, playing in the first four games of the campaign before falling out of favour.
Head of Recruitment Guy Branston said: "Scot needs first team football to get back in first team here at Notts County.
"With limited first-team opportunities, this is a great chance for Scot to play first-team football and try to force his way into the first-team plans here.
"This is not the end for Scot at Notts County, but he needs first-team football to force his way back into our team.
"Scot, like all loanees, will be closely monitored during his time away from the club."
