Notts County Football Club is delighted to announce that defenders Carl Regan and Tom Williams have officially been added to the squad.
Regan and Williams have impressed during trials at Meadow Lane this summer and first team manager Keith Curle has made no secret of his desire to secure both players’ services.
The duo have agreed five-month deals with the club that will expire on 7 January 2013 and are eligible to play in today’s Capital One Cup fixture with Bradford City.
Regan initially linked up with the Magpies on loan from Bristol Rovers at the back end of the 2010.11 campaign, featuring four times in the black and white stripes.
The 32-year-old, who has previously worked with Curle at Chester, offers strong competition in both full-back positions.
Williams, also 32, is capable of slotting in at left-back or at the heart of defence and has experienced League 1 success in the past, having achieved promotion to the Championship in 2008.09 with Peterborough United.
Regan and Williams will wear the number 27 and 30 shirts respectively.
