Notts County will kick-off the 2014.15 Sky Bet League 1 campaign with an away trip to Preston North End on Saturday 9 August.
The provisional fixture list for all Sky Bet League 1 was released on Wednesday morning and handed Shaun Derry a tough away trip to start his first full season in charge of Notts.
Our first home game will come a week later, on Saturday 16 August, when newly-promoted Fleetwood Town come to Meadow Lane, followed three days later by the visit of Colchester United.
Some key dates that stand out from the fixture list include a home game against MK Dons on Boxing Day, the visit of title-favourites Sheffield United on Saturday 3 January and the final day fixture, which will again see Notts on the road, this time to Gillingham on Saturday 2 May.
We travel to Barnsley, who came down from the Championship last season, on Tuesday 21 October, with the return fixture here at Meadow Lane also on Tuesday 14 April, the first games between the two sides since the 2003.04 season.
Any changes to the provisional fixture list will be brought to you on the club’s official website, with teams having until the end of June to request changes to the schedule.
