Notts County can confirm that we have reached an agreement with Sky Bet Championship side Ipswich Town that will see goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski move to Portman Road for an undisclosed fee.
Bialkowski, who moved to Meadow Lane from Southampton on a free transfer ahead of the 2012.13 season, had one-year remaining on his contract and had spoken of his desire to play at a higher level after another impressive campaign for Notts.
The 27-year-old Polish custodian will now get that chance after agreeing terms on a move to Mick McCarthy’s Ipswich.
Bialkowski made over 90 appearances for Notts in all competitions and the club would like to thank him for his efforts during his time with us and to wish him well for his future career.
