Defender Hayden Mullins Ready For Crucial Swindon Town And Oldham Athletic Games

24 April 2014

Hayden Mullins believes that Notts County can head into this weekend’s important clash with Swindon Town full of confidence.

The Magpies have won four home games on the spin but face a difficult test at Meadow Lane on Saturday (3pm kick-off), as Swindon focus on their last-ditch attempt of clinching a place in the Play-Offs.

Notts battled for their lives to secure three points against Crawley Town on Bank Holiday Monday and more of the same fighting spirit will be required against Town and Oldham Athletic if the club is to remain in Sky Bet League 1.

“It was important that we got the three points against Crawley and the boys on the whole did really well, which means we can look forward to Saturday’s game,” said Mullins.

“We’ve said that if we win our home games we put ourselves in with a great chance.

“We’ve manage to do that over recent weeks and even though our away form hasn’t been there, hopefully we can win the next two and stay up.

“We’re confident but we have to be because picking up three points and playing well as a team always brings confidence.”

Notts face an even bigger game on Saturday afternoon against Swindon Town at Meadow Lane (3pm kick-off).
