The Magpies have appointed Simon Breen as the club’s new Chief Financial Officer…
Breen will bring a wealth of experience to the board having worked in industry for 25 years, initially for Hoban Nelson Lang accountants in Manchester and more recently as Group Finance Director for Pinnacle Advantage Limited.
Armed with this strategic financial experience, his arrival further strengthens the club’s board at Meadow Lane.
Breen told the Official Site: “I am delighted to join the board of the oldest football league club in the world.
“It’s not very often that you have the opportunity to bring your commercial skills and experience into an arena that you have a real passion for.
“I’ve worked with Ray Trew across his other businesses and so I’m delighted to offer my support and input into Notts County.
“The atmosphere behinds the scenes at Meadow Lane is infectious, everyone involved is focused on supporting the players and the manager and realising our objective which is getting back into League One.”
Breen (CFO) will oversee all of the financial functions within the club, working closely with Luke Negus-Hill (COO) and Aileen Trew (CEO).
